Civil Rights protest during a pandemic.  The death of George Floyd sparked a strong worldwide movement for racial equality and police reform. My wife was pregnant at the time with our second child and we recently moved. As much as I wanted to hit the streets to add to the energy of the uprising, I was needed more at home. So instead, I took to the canvas and produced my most free-styled painting ever! No sketch, no overthinking just inspiration and a brush.

This piece captures the bravery of those who decided to let their voices be heard through action in the mist of  the pandemic! This lady can be seen being pepper sprayed will protesting in her mask.

"Trigger Words"  from the lockdown can be seen in her hair
